Cultural Camp (Spring 2023)

Goodradigbee Cultural & Heritage Aboriginal Corporation’s (GCAHAC) Cultural Camp provides young mob an opportunity to connect and share their culture in a culturally safe environment. We encourage our participants to be proud of who they and where they come from and work on building strong and resilient young mob.

Based at Sydney Academy of Sport (Eora Country) our activities include:

  • Aquatic: canoeing, kayaking, pool games, raft building, stand-up paddle boarding.
  • Interpersonal movement: bushwalking, damper cookout
  • Recreation: archery tag, scooters, chariot building
  • Cultural Workshops: dance, boomerang throwing, weaving, painting, spear throwing & corroboree

Program Dates: Tuesday 26th September 2023 – Friday 29th September 2023

Location: Sydney Academy of Sport (Eora Country)

Wakehurst Pkwy, Narrabeen NSW 2101

Included: Meals, Cultural Activities & Supervision.

Program Cost: $1,250.00 per participant

Max Persons:  Limited to 40 children 

Registrations Close: Tuesday 19th September 2023 at 5pm.

Departure Details 

We will meet at Penrith Station (opposite the Quest Hotel, Lord Sheffield, Close Thornton) on Tuesday 26th September 2023 at 11:30am for a 12pm sharp departure.

*Please ensure children are dropped off by 11:30am to allow the program to run on time.

Return Details

We will return to Penrith Station (opposite the Quest Hotel, Lord Sheffield, Close Thornton) on Friday 14th July 2023 at 12pm.

*Children to be picked up at 12pm.
